To send mail, follow these steps: • Select a notification icon To select a notification icon from the icon list, click on it. A box appears around the currently selected icon. This is the icon that will flash over the Apple menu on the recipients computer when your mail arrives. • Type in the text All keyboard input will appear in the OutBox text area. The standard editing functions—cut, copy, and paste—are all available. • Select the recipients To select one name from the user list, simply click on it. To select more than one name, hold the “Shift” key down while clicking on each name you want to select. Shift-clicking on a name that is already selected will de-select that name. To select a predefined group of users, choose the group name from the “Group” pop-up menu. Having selected a group name, you may still toggle individual names on or off by shift-clicking on them. • Click on the “Send” button To send your mail to all selected recipients, click on the “Send” button. Cmd-Enter and Cmd-Return are keyboard shortcuts for clicking on the “Send” button. Double-clicking on a single name is a shortcut for choosing that name and then clicking on the “Send” button.
